The University of Hong Kong is the oldest tertiary education institution in the city, and a leading research University in Asia and globally. The redevelopment at No. 2 University Drive aims to create an academic building that is conducive to the research and teaching of advanced molecular science and biomedicine, particularly in the field of molecular and macromolecular technology. It includes building facilities including a Mass Spectrometry suite, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance suite, and Microscopy suite. Comprised of laboratories, classrooms, office spaces and study spaces, the project has an estimated net operational floor area of 7,100 m².
