In April 2019 the centre was renamed as CityU Veterinary Medical Centre (CityU VMC) and relocated to Sham Shui Po. CityU VMC is one of the largest veterinary centres in Southeast Asia, consisting of three floors and a total area of approximately 33,000 square feet. The clinic provides high quality veterinary care, uses state-of-the-art medical equipment, and includes 24-hour Emergency Services, 22 consultation rooms, 5 different wards, 9 surgery rooms, and separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. The Medical Centre also provides practicum opportunities for students at the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences at City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
