Project Description

Located at 71 Fung Shing Street at Wong Tai Sin, Ngau Chi Wan Park was completed in February 2010 and was built on a former landfill site. The Park occupies an area of about 4 hectares and comprises of four platforms, one on the east side of Fung Shing Street and three (upper, middle and lower) on the west of the street. The east-side platform features sports facilities including an archery range and a basketball court, while leisure facilities including jogging tracks, a Tai Chi garden, elderly fitness corners, children’s play areas, fitness stations, a maze garden and a rocky pool with buffalo sculptures are at the three platforms on the west. The Park was awarded the 2010 Asian Townscape Awards by the UN-Habitat Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and Asian Habitat Society.
